The Windows app ships as a standard .exe installer. Download it,
click through one Microsoft Defender SmartScreen prompt, and run the wizard —
about 60 seconds end to end. After that it runs like any normal Windows program.
The installer isn't code-signed with a Windows Authenticode certificate yet, so Microsoft Defender SmartScreen flags it as "unrecognized" and asks you to confirm before running. That's the only extra step — the install itself is a normal Windows installer. It's built by Adam Lankamer (the Acreator Store network — the same maker as PerfectStudio and Ucaption, both already on the Microsoft Store).
Launch GuildSkills from the Start menu (or the desktop shortcut). Sign in with the email tied to your GuildSkills Pro subscription to unlock one-click install into your agent. (GuildSkills Pro is separate from ClaudSkills.) Browsing and searching the catalog are free — Pro gates the one-click install.
You don't need the app at all — every skill page has its SKILL.md and the
target directory for each agent. See the cross-agent install guide
to copy a skill in by hand.
